This is a Dust Mite. This is Also My Brain.

Dermatophagoides farinae

I have two excuses for not posting anything for...well, I was gonna say "a while", but really, it's only been a couple of weeks. It just seems longer. Anyway, my excuses: 1) I've been really busy with work, which requires me to spend inordinate amounts of time on the computer. And 2) I've been really busy with work, which requires me to spend inordinate amounts of time on the computer.

But I will be posting something new soon. I promise. Really.

  2. I'm trying to write my next blog post and I feel as if my brain full of nothing but dust (trying not to think of the mites). Sigh. Excuse me while I clear the dust and go do some writing.

  4. Thought you were describing my brain for minute. It's full of dust too. Funny post!

  5. @Steven! It's good to see you posting, although I didn't think it had been THAT long since your last one. Maybe because my fiance and I have been back to browse your art a couple of times (still think it's great).

I'm with @Christy and @Tom. Kind of feel like my brain is full of dust (oh please no mites) right now. I've got too much to do and can't think to save my life. Dust.

    Love the post!

  6. @Christy, @Tom and @Michelle: I'm thinking about breaking out my new Dust Buster and just sticking it in my ear! ;-P

@Michelle: I'm glad you and Hubby-To-Be have been back to check out my art again. It was a lot of fun (and a little nerve-wracking) to post it.

Working on a new 'real' post as soon as the dust in my head settles. ;-)

  7. @Steven you're talented! But I can understand how it would have been nerve-wracking.

LOL! Didn't you post something about buying a new Dust Buster? It should do a really good job!

  8. I hope your next post is something more like your original posts. I miss those. Controversial yes, and interesting.

  9. @Steven sorry, but I'm going to address two posts in one comment. Things are crazy busy for me.

First - loved your art! Excellent! You have talent El Presidente and I'm impressed! I like them all, so I'm not picking a favorite.

Second - that dust mite is just gross! LOL! If that's what's rattling in your brain right now, The Veep needs to take you to the doc. LOL! Great post!

I feel like I've been gone for so long! It's going to be hit and miss for me for a while. Sorry El Presidente. :-(

  10. @Shay: The Veep and I were just talking about you last night. I knew you were gonna be busy the next few weeks, but we still missed you. ;-)

Glad you liked the art; thanks for the compliment. And I'm glad the dust mite grossed you out. LOL! (Almost any response to a blog post is good.)

@Anonymous: I miss my old posts too. LOL! Seriously, it's been nice to lighten up a bit, but I'm looking forward to getting back to some of the stuff that irks me. Stay tuned...

@Michelle: My Dirt Devil is primed and ready to suck!

  11. @Shay! Welcome back! I agree with you, the dust mite is gross. Let's hope that's not what's really in El Presidente's head. ;-)

  12. @Steven - OK, first eeewwww! LOL! But funny post! With me only able to get on the computer here and there, it hasn't seemed long at all, so no worries. If you're busy with work, you're busy with work. We will all still be here when you get unbusy. :-)

Love the Dust Buster comment! LOL! I feel like I have dust in my head a lot of the time too. Let me know if it works. ;-)

  13. Eww...That thing looks like a giant finger print with claws. :::::Shivers at the thought::::

I've been so insanely busy too and it's just going to get worse with all the yard work on top of everything else! UGH!!!

    Miss you! Hugs and smooches

(Maybe if dust mites had some fur and bunny ears?)

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Anita I'm not sure fur and bunny ears would help that dust mite. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Anita, I try to not look at the dust mite when I come here. Ick!

@Anita and @Hooka, but the bunny ears would be a fun look for @Steven! :-)

  16. @Christy and @Anita I do believe bunny ears would be nice for @Steven, aka El Presidente. Most appropriate for a man of his position. Good suggestion Ms. Veep (aka @Christy). You must take a photo when you visit him and post for all to see. ;-)

  17. You're cool! Just wanted to say that!

@Christy - No worries. I'm a dude and just think @Steven is cool. LOL!

  18. Damn! I don't know how my name was changed to "Anonymous" but I'm James!

  19. @Jamesanonymous: LMAO! Thanks, dude.

  20. Oh, and the bunny ears ain't gonna happen!

  21. Ok what's going on here, is everyone busy????

    ReplyDelete
  22. @Amanda: LOL! Actually, yes! LOL!

Okay, so I can't speak for everyone else, but @Christy and I had a busy, busy, busy couple of weeks. Should be slowing down soon so we can get back into the blogosphere. Glad you checked in though. I've missed everybody! :-)
